Frequently Asked Questions
Technical and Clinical Clarifications for the Sovereign Class.
Is KINOS a replacement for a human lawyer or therapist?
KINOS is an Autonomous Referee. While it utilizes clinically-vetted protocols (Gottman, NVC, CBT), its primary function is de-escalation and arbitration. For formal legal filings or long-term clinical psychiatric care, we recommend syncing with a human specialist. KINOS is the "Immediate Interface" for resolution.
How does the "Talking Stick" protocol work?
It is a strict electronic gate. When one party is transmitting, the other party's input buffer is HARD-LOCKED. This prevents interruption, ensures data integrity, and forces both parties to fully ingest the other's perspective before formulating a response.
Are my mediation sessions private?
Absolutely. Every session is siloed within the KINOS Vault. Your private interview messages are never visible to the other party. Only messages sent in the "Joint Session" are shared. Final agreements are hashed via SHA-256, ensuring the record is immutable but accessible only to authorized nodes.
What happens if we can't reach an agreement?
If the system detects a permanent deadlock, it triggers a Strategic Pivot. This shifts the session from "Dialogue" to "Arbitration." KINOS will deploy a mandatory consensus protocol (like the Shotgun Clause for business or the Priority Draft for assets) to force a high-integrity outcome.
Can I use KINOS on my mobile phone?
Yes. KINOS is a standalone PWA (Progressive Web App). You can install it directly to your home screen from the browser. It features real-time push notifications via the Thumper node to alert you when it is your turn to transmit.
